C A Cupid Doll From Ever After High

C. A. Cupid is the character that came to Ever After High from Monster High. She's the only doll that has a version in both lines. I wrote about the Monster High Cupid doll here -->>

Meet C A Cupid From Monster High

As you can see she got a complete makeover when she came to Ever After High. I don't own the MH version so my comparison is not as good as some bloggers that have them both. She was a 2012 Walmart exclusive from the Sweet 1600 Monster High line. I saw her in the store and now could kick myself for not buying her. She's crazy expensive these days.

But at least I got the Ever After High doll. Here she is in her box. She's very pink. Her skin color is more realistic in this version and her face has the EAH shape. Much more round from the front with a flat profile.

Her bio is on the back. And she has the story book bookmark that you cut from the box front like all the other first line dolls.

She comes with a clear stand. I like clear stands. Wish all of the dolls had them. And she has a bow and arrow to spread love with.

She also has a bag of extra arrows. They don't come out obviously. It's not a working weapon set. Just a cute accessory. The picture below shows Cupid without her stand. She balances easily. And her wings come off in this version too. The were attached on the Monster High doll.

She's got blue green eyes with a little heart white fleck in her pupils. Her lips have the signature heart lipstick in the center. And her headband is a woven design in the same golden color as the accents inside her wings.

Here is the flat face profile I mentioned earlier. So far all of the Ever After High dolls have this to some extent. It's not my favorite. Also notice Cupid's cute heart shaped earrings and the arrow ring that holds her wings on her neck. Nice details.

The Ever After High version of Mattel's C A Cupid doll has brighter pink and longer hair. This doll's is flat and straggly out of the box. I'll have to brush it to fluff it out.

And here are front and back views of her dress. It's a sleeveless style with arrow patterns on the skirt. There's also a tulle layer on the front of the bodice and skirt. I think her belt detail is feathers. It coordinates with the color in her headband. And she wears black net stockings.

Like all the Monster High and Ever After High dolls, she's got fantastic detail in her shoes. The heels are arrows and she's got wings around her ankles. And of course pink hearts. Lots of pink everywhere.

The back of her wings don't have the gold coloring. Just white.

These are the accessories with C A Cupid. She also has a bracelet on her arm that I didn't remove. Look at that teeny ring. They are so easy to lose.

I took C A Cupid over to Ashlynn Ella and Hunter Huntsman so she could offer some romance advice. They are such a cute couple.

I bought my C A Cupid Ever After High doll online. She was very reasonably priced. I'm not making the same mistake as I did with the Monster High version. I've seen her in several stores and she's easy to find right now. If you want one I recommend buying now before they are gone.
