My Honey Swamp Doll – Couldn’t Resist The Hair
Meet my newest Monster High doll, Honey Swamp. She's one of the Frights, Camera, Action monsters. I told myself that I was on a Monster High Doll diet but I couldn't resist Honey's corkscrew curly two-toned aquamarine colored hair and reptile eyes.

Here are some of the highlights of her bio - Honey Swamp is 115 years old and the daughter of the Island Swamp Monster. She's very mannerly and a southern belle ghoul hailing from New Goreleans. Her favorite food is dead beans and rice with jamboolya. Honey makes her debut in the Monster High story in the Frights Camera Action DVD.

Her fashion colors are pink, aqua, and purple which brings out the blue-green tint of her skin. I have to say her skin color is not my favorite. But oh that hair! Her arms, legs, and torso are covered in swamp vines molded into the plastic. She wears minimal jewelry, just a pearl bracelet and earrings.
Her jagged edge skirt has a boa like under-slip lining.

Honey's makeup is quite intricate. Her eyeshadow is a darker aqua blue with a row of pink above. And she's got purple eyebrows. Her lips appear to have thorns on them. Not conducive to kissing I don't think. She's got detailed green irises with long vertical pupils, like a reptile.
And like all the other Monster High girls, she wears the most clever shoes. These pink high wedges are scaled and have alligator teeth and eyes on the sides. And the heel is an alligator tail.
Honey wears a black headband with a pink flowered hat to keep those locks out of her face. And since she's a movie cinametographer, she keeps her camera and director sign close by.
As a first edition doll, she also has a diary journal with some secrets from her story inside. Right now Honey Swamp doesn't have a pet. There are many to chose from in the swamp, but she's so busy with school and her film career, there's not much time to tend to a little monster friend.

The store where I bought Honey Swamp also had Elissabat, another new ghoul from the series, but I didn't buy her. The only other doll from the FCA set that would tempt me is Viperine Gorgon, but she's elusive in stores. She's available online though. That's okay, like I said I need to trim my Monster High doll spending for a while.

Honey doll is a showstopper herself in a ‘harming dress with a freaky feminine flair. The full skirt features a floral print and black shredded hem; the pink bodice looks perfect for this perfectionist with a black button strip and lace collar. Her frightful accessories are made even more killer with swamp-tastic details like a belt dripping with moss, pink ankle-strap shoes with tails as heels and a scary cute swamp-detailed hat. Girls will love recreating favorite Honey Swamps cenes from the series or making up new stories on their own. Like her counterparts, the doll comes with a signature-style brush (and with the local humidity, she will need it!), doll stand (to strike extreme poses) and a diary (with details the tabloids would love).
