McDonalds Wizard of Oz Happy Meal Dolls – Then and Now
Thought I'd share a few of my McDonalds Happy Meal dolls. The 6 doll set in the foreground is the latest from the girls Happy Meal toys. It was available in September and October of 2013. 2013 is the 75th anniversary of the movie. They are little plastic figures that fit onto their section of the Yellow Brick Road using a peg and a little hole in the bottom of their shoes.
Their counterparts in back are part of the Madame Alexander set. There were actually 2 Wizard of Oz Madame Alexander doll sets. One had 8 figures in 2007 and the other had 12 figures in 2008. I think these are a mish-mash of the 2 years.
Here they are shown separately. Pretty cute.
