Meet Celli Cat Doll No 4 Petit Blue
My newest doll purchase is a Celli Cat doll. This is a Korean brand doll that stands about 8 inches tall and made of vinyl. My doll is Petit Blue No 4, one of the first series in the line. I bought my doll on eBay from a US seller and the doll was advertised as new but it was clearly no new when I received it. The box had been opened and the plastic that held her in place was cut. She looks new though so I suspect she was displayed, not played with, so it's okay. I do wish the eBay sellers would abide by the description rules though.
Anyway I took a picture of her next to my Pinkie Cooper doll in the box because they both have pink and brown artwork. The dolls are around the same size too. The back of the Celli Cat box is written in Korean and I couldn't read it. Like many of the dolls I'm drawn to she has an enormous head.
She comes in a satin dress with her own image in the print pattern, and a big satin polka dot bow glued to the top of her head. She also has a little pink satin purse with a plastic gold heart handle.
All of her features are painted on in pink and brown, and she doesn't have articulation so she doesn't pose like many of my dolls. Celli Cats face is very sweet. She has simple big brown eyes with white and pink fleck accents in them.
In back she's got a dark brown plastic tail that swivels around. Her head is painted pink in the back.
Celli Cat is standing in front of the Mini Lalaloopsy Doll dollhouse. You can see she's much too big for this dollhouse.
And a bit small for the kitchen in the large dollhouse.
Her body is very basic and has pink painted underpants.
Her tail can point up or down or to either side. My girl has a little stain on her back, I assume a bleed from the dress fabric.
Here she is getting acquainted with my Artesania Rinconada dog collection.
I like my Celli Cat doll because she's refreshingly simple and cute. I think her face has a slight touch of an Anime effect, but she appears childish like Hello Kitty. Her body is very soft without being rubbery and she stand easily by herself, with or without her shoes. Celli Cat will probably live in the big dollhouse with some of my retro dolls like Peteena Poodle and Emerald the Enchanting Witch. Look for her hanging out with more friends in future posts.
