Mini Halloween Cabbage Patch Kids Witch and Kitty Dolls
Update - I found another mini Cabbage Patch Babyland Halloween doll today ( 10-5-2013) at Target. She's an angel I think, maybe a fairy. I'm adding a picture here at the top of the page with all three of the dolls and a separate picture of her at the bottom of this post.
I was in the Halloween candy section at Target today and these 2 cute Cabbage Patch Babyland Mini dolls jumped in my cart. Halloween candy is already out in force and it's only mid-September. Wow. I have to buy mine at the last minute or I'll eat it. I love Halloween.
Back to the dolls - These are the teeny little Cabbage Patch dolls, just a couple of inches high made by Jakks Pacific. It doesn't appear theses are exclusive to Target so they may be in other stores too. There may even be other costumes out there. It's the first time I've come across them so I have no idea. These boxes say it's the Cabbage Patch Kids 30th anniversary.
If you ever get a chance to visit the Babyland General Hospital in Cleveland, Georgia it's really fun. I went there a few years ago and they give you a tour through the birthing cneter, and the employees are all dressed like doctors and nurses. Then there is an adoption center where you can meet your new baby. The link above shows the building. When I went it was in a different smaller building so I plan to go back someday and see the bigger facility. I vacation near Cleveland in the Georgia mountains so it's just a short drive over.
Both dolls are special Halloween editions and are wearing plastic "costumes" for the holiday. The costumes are part of the mold and don't come off. Their plastic hair is styled into little ponytails that look like they can twist around but I tried and it didn't work right away so I didn't force it. The Cabbage Patch mini dolls have joints at the shoulders, neck and hips. Basically they can sit and stand and turn their heads from side to side.
Like the bigger Cabbage Patch dolls they come with birth certificates that tell their names and birthday.
My witchy doll is named Cristal and was born on November 7th. Her hat comes off but I left it tied on.
And the cute kitty is Yvette and was born on May 19th.
Yvette can remove her bib if she wants to. Her kitty ears headband doesn't come off.
Here are a few more pictures of cuteness to enjoy. Some back views too.
If Cristal and Yvettes chubby little arms were just a bit longer they could play patty-cake.
I later found another Cabbage Patch Halloween Babyland mini doll so I've added her picture. Her name is Laurel and she was born December 19. I believe she's an angel because of her wings. If she was a fairy she probably would have a wand or something.
The outfit apparently comes off but I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to get it back on so I didn't attempt it.

Love the minis!! Cannot find them online at anywhere other than Ebay. Bought 4 last year- should have kept more than 1!
This is the first time I’ve seen them. I wish I had bought an extra set too. These I got at Target.
